Elspeth Young Prize for Social Contribution

Each year the Crawford School of Public Policy, College of Law, Governance and Policy may offer a prize known as the Elspeth Young Prize for Social Contribution.

Overview

The objective of the prize is to recognise the most valuable contribution to the social fabric of the Resource, Environment and Development Department student group.

The value of the prize awarded is $500.

The prize will be on offer each semester.

The prize will be offered from 2025 to 2027 unless otherwise advised.

Funding for this prize has been provided by the Crawford School of Public Policy

This prize is named for Elspeth Anne Young who was a Geographer and the Director (1994-1999) of the Graduate Studies in Environmental Management and Development Program.
