Join us for an exciting and hands-on session for academics from across 91视频to come together in-person to rethink assessments and learning experiences in the age of artificial intelligence!

Whether you're just starting or already experimenting with AI, this session is designed to spark ideas, foster innovation, and provide practical feedback. 

Bring your course outlines and current assessments鈥攖his is your opportunity to collaboratively explore how AI can be meaningfully integrated into your teaching and assessment practices.

We鈥檙e thrilled to feature Bert Verhoeven, Senior Lecturer and Director of the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Academy at the University of Newcastle.

Bert is a pioneer in AI-driven education, known for developing one of Australia鈥檚 most comprehensive GenAI-centric Innovation & Entrepreneurship programs. His work blends human-centric design, entrepreneurial thinking, and generative AI to create transformative learning experiences that prepare students for the future. 

Throughout the session, you'll have the chance to: 

  • Explore real-world examples of course and assessment redesign from the University of Newcastle. 
  • Collaborate with peers to workshop and refine your own course and assessment ideas. 
  • Share, discuss, and reflect on innovative strategies for integrating AI into learning activities and assessment design.
